These terms govern your use of the SwiftMater website and materials computing services.
1. Scope of services
We provide materials computing and simulation research services, covering first-principles, quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, molecular simulation, finite element analysis, phase diagram analysis, machine learning, Monte Carlo and life cycle assessment.
2. Scope confirmation and quotations
Project scope, schedule, fees and deliverables are governed by the confirmed requirement sheet, quotation or signed contract. Performance figures published on this site describe service capability and are not project-specific commitments; SLA terms are those in the signed service commitment.
3. Customer data and confidentiality
You confirm that submitted data is lawfully obtained and that you are entitled to use it. Each party keeps the other’s technical data, structure files and business information confidential and will not disclose them to third parties without written consent.
4. Results and intellectual property
Ownership of project results follows the contract. Unless agreed otherwise, you hold the right to use the delivered results, while we retain ownership of our methods and tools and the right to reuse generic methods in non-confidential contexts.
5. Fees and payment
Fees, invoices and payment milestones follow the contract; late payment may affect delivery scheduling.
6. Limitation of liability
We deliver to the agreed standards and accept corresponding responsibility. We are not liable beyond the contract for deviations or delays caused by incorrect customer data, third-party software licensing limits or force majeure.
7. Force majeure
Neither party is in breach for interruption or delay caused by natural disasters, policy changes, or network and computing infrastructure failures; delivery arrangements will be adjusted by mutual agreement.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes should first be resolved through friendly negotiation, otherwise submitted to the competent court where we are located.
